Quilling or paper filigree is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. The paper is wound around a quill to create a basic coil shape. The paper is glued at the tip and the coil shaped, these shaped coils are arranged to form flowers, leaves, and various ornamental patterns.
The craft has gone through many transformations and changes through the ages using new techniques, styles and materials. Dimensional quilling creates 3D items.

call it a chime or just a wall hanging…
made of simple paper pipes and quilled open floral pattern…stringed them and it made my desk look different than the others 🙂


Quilled Penstand

a juice bottle..some old news paper..paint and quilling…super fun and amazing look…

cut the juice bottle …covered with paper…made news paper pipes…cut them a bit uneven…stuck them on the bottle…painted it…
made some quilled roses…nice and bright yellow…orange and purple…punched some leaves..
stuck them up….
